So Matt put up this little clip on facebook of his fight at Lumpinee. It's not the greatest view but have a look and enjoy! Congrats again to Matt for the big win
York Muay Thai's special 3 month offer for 150$ expires in March! Call or email to book your FREE class. Come experience a great workout, a warm atmosphere and a great sport.
Lamsongkram Chuwattana is the former WBC world Muay Thai Champion, former WMC world champion, former Rajadamnern Stadium champion. He is also the S-1 2004 Champion. He fights at 72.5 kg, so he's one of the heavier Thais. He is known for strong clinch techniques utilizing knees and elbows.
Yohan Lidon is a strong French fighter who has challenged Lamsongkram for his WBC title once before, and failed.
I could care less about the Thailand vs kind of thing, but it looks like the production values will be amazing. I think MT needs more big cards like K-1.
Posting has slowed as I am a little busier these days...but I still have love for the blog!
Here are some vids of Buakaw in Phuket!
Here he faces Ramazan (WMC Interncontinental champ at Heavyweight, K-1 contender) in a demo match. Ramazan was supposed to fight Simon Bad Boy on a card that was cancelled http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bT76pYuAFiQ
Here's a clip off New Years Eve's K-1 card, featuring Masato's retirement fight against Andy Souwer. I'm not huge on K-1 or either of these fighters, but it's a fun watch.
